DONATION-BASED MUSIC LESSONS
In the ways available to us as musicians and educators, we hope that we might help to make a tangible impact towards positive social change. Specifically, one of our initiatives to support racial equality in the United States is to provide donation-based lessons. Zohn Collective musicians will provide half-hour or hour long music lessons in exchange for donations to one of the racial justice organizations listed below.
We ask those interested in donation-based lessons first to be in touch with the musician, then choose a cause from the list, donate $25/half-hour lesson or $50/hour lesson (or more!), and provide a receipt before the lessons begin. Lessons are currently available in piano, violin, flute, clarinet, guitar, conducting, and composition. Dates, times, and number of lessons will be organized with the individual musicians and Skype or Zoom lessons are available. To learn more or get in touch, please email us via our contact page and identify your instrument/area for lessons!
